According to the Federal Custom Service of Russia, from January to November, 2018 Ukraine imported aluminum wire from Russia for the total amount of $16.4 mln, it is a 168% increase compared to the same period of 2017.
For the first 11 months of 2018 Russia’s aluminum wire export stood at $220.12 mln and decreased by 31% compared to the same period of 2017.
Top 5 importers of Russian aluminum wire included Belarus (30.4%), the USA (10.3%), Switzerland (9.5%), Kazakhstan (8.2%) and Ukraine (7.5%).
There was a decline in supplies of Russian aluminum wire to the USA (-21%) and Kazakhstan (-31%).
