Russia increased the volume of extra virgin olive oil import from Greece by 71%. According to the Federal Custom Service, for the first 11 months of 2018 Greece became the largest supplier of extra virgin olive oil to Russia with a total export volume amounted to $2.5 mln.
In 2017 the leading exporters of this product to Russia were Italy and Spain, while Greece ranked 3rd.
But from January to November, 2018 Italy and Spain reduced their extra virgin olive oil supplies to Russia by 35% and 27% respectively.
