According to the Federal Custom Service of Russia, for the first 11 months of 2018 Russia-Spain trade turnover increased by 10.5% compared to the same period of 2017 and reached $5.34 bn.
In the bilateral trade turnover Russia’s import from Spain exceeded its export by 30%. Russia’s export to Spain stood at $2.19 bn and thus increased by 10.2% compared to the same period of 2017. Russia’s import from Spain amounted to $3.14 bn (+10.8%).
The main share of Russia’s export to Spain was traditionally constituted by distillates, crude oil and oils from bituminous minerals, bituminous coal, ferrous products obtained by direct reduction of iron ore, liquefied natural gas, dried peas, reciprocation motors with cylinder capacity over 1000 cm3, wheat and meslin.
