According to the Federal Custom Service of Russia, for 11 months of 2018 Turkey’s lemon export to Russia increased by 12% in terms of volume, but decreased by 4% in terms of value.
Russia imported from Turkey 107.768 thous. tn of lemons for the total amount of $79.96 mln.
Turkey became the leading lemon supplier to Russia and accounted for 48% of all Russia’s lemon import. Argentina was the second largest supplier (26%), the South Africa ranked the 3<sup>rd</sup> (17%), China and Morocco ranked 4<sup>th</sup> and 5<sup>th</sup> (4.4% and 1.9% respectively). In total, Russia imported lemons from 20 countries.
From January to April, 2019 Orel region’s export to Germany increased by 7% compared to the same period of 2018 and amounted to $5.9 mln.
From January to April, 2019 Pskov region’s export to Spain went up by 1.64 mln. compared to the same period of 2018 and amounted to $1.65 mln.
In 2018 Russia became the world’s largest exporter of fuel elements (cartridges). Its export volume amounted to $981 mln or 44% of world’s fuel element export.
