For the first seven months of this year Kaluga Region’s export of household washing machines (of a dry linen capacity not exceeding 10 kg) has stood at $25.06 mln and thus increased by 8% compared to the same period of 2017.
Russia’s export of household washing machines has amounted to $162.6 mln. Kaluga Region has accounted for 15% of all Russia’s export of this good. The region has given the pas only to Moscow Region that has accounted for 21% of Russia’s washing machines export.
The major share of Kaluga Region’s washing machines (52%) has been exported to Kazakhstan. Also Kaluga Region has supplied this good to Ukraine ($4.9 mln, 20%), Poland ($2.3 mln, 9%), Uzbekistan (6%), Moldova (4%), Latvia (3%), Slovakia (2.4%), Tajikistan and Italy (1% each), Mongolia, Romania and the Republic of Korea.
