The Republic of Mordovia is a leading Russian region for cut flowers export.
From January to July, 2018 Russia’s export of this production has amounted to $232.7 thous., 65% of which have been constituted by Mordovia’s supplies. During this period the Republic has exported cut flowers worth $152.2 thous., it is a 43% increase compared to the same period of 2017. All these flowers have been exported to Belarus. Likewise in 2017 Mordovia exported cut flowers only to Belarus.
Alongside with the Republic of Mordovia other exporters of cut flowers have been Rostov Region, Smolensk Region, Moscow Region, Astrakhan Region, Moscow city, Chelyabinsk Region and Krasnodar Territory.
