According to the Federal Custom Service of Russia, from January to July, 2018 Primorye Territory's export value of frozen Alaska pollack has increased by 12% compared to the same period of 2017 and amounted to $196.6 mln.
But its export volume has reduced by 3% to 180.6 thous. tn.
Primotye Territory has been the largest Russian exporter of frozen Alaska pollack and accounted for 41% of national export of this product. Alongside with Primorye Terrirory other large exporters of Alaska pollack are Sakhalin Region (23%), Kamchatka Territory (20%) and Khabarovsk Territory (10%).
Chin has become the main importer of frozen Alaska pollack from Primorye (90.9%). The Republic of Korea has imported 9% of all Primorye Region's frozen pollack export. Small-scale supplies have been also shipped to Brazil and Belarus.
