From January to July, 2018 Penza Region has exported 6.5 thous. tn of chocolate products worth $9.8 mln and increased its export by 138% in terms of volume and by 106% in terms of value.
Penza chocolate confectionary has been supplied to 19 countries. The largest buyer of Penza chocolate has been Kazakhstan (42%). Among other importers there have been Ukraine (12%), Belarus (11%), Azerbaijan (9%), Kyrgyzstan (6%), Mongolia (5%), China (4%), Tajikistan (2%), Turkmenistan and Lithuania (1.8% each), Armenia, Uzbekistan, Georgia and Germany (1% each), Abkhazia, Moldova, Canada, Estonia and the USA.
