For the first seven months of 2018 Tula Region's export of live chicken has increased by 35% to $2.44 mln compared to the same period of 2017 ($1.8 mln).
Live chicken from Tula Region have been shipped to Azerbaijan (69%), Belarus (19%) and Kazakhstan (12%).
Tula Region is the second largest exporter of live chicken in Russia. All Russia's export of this commodity has amounted to $8.38 mln. Live chicken have been exported by ten Russian regions, namely by Sverdlovsk Region (40%), Tula Region (29%), Krasnodar Territory (10%), Chelyabinsk Region (5%), St. Petersburg (4%), Rostov Region (3%), Vologda Region (2%), Novosibirsk Region (1%) and Irkutsk Region.
