Demand For Toilet Paper Increases

From January to May of 2018 Russia has exported 16.6 thous. tn of toilet paper in the value of $20.6 mln and thus increased its export value by 25%.

Russia’s toilet paper export has been almost 2.5 times as much as its import ($8.5 mln).

Russia has exported toilet paper to more than 20 countries, including Kazakhstan (36%), Germany (21%), Belarus and Ukraine (11% each), Azerbaijan (4%), Poland (3%), Armenia, Moldova, Georgia (2% each) and other countries.

Fir this period Russia has imported toilet paper from such countries as Ukraine (27%), China (14%), the United Kingdom (12%), Germany (11%), Poland (9%), Finland (7%), Switzerland (5%), the Republic of Korea (4%), Lithuania and Belarus (3% each), Italy (2%) and others.
