From January to May, 2018 Vologda Region has exported 4.6 thous. tn of saw dust in the value of $1.8 mln and thus doubled its export volume and value compared to the same period of 2017.
The largest supplies have been shipped to Denmark (49%, $885 thous.). Vologda region’s saw dust have been also imported by Lithuania (16%), the united Kingdom and Estonia (11% each), Belgium (7%), Germany (3%), France< Finland and Italy (1% each).
Vologda Region is the leading saw dust exporter among Russian regions. For the first five months of 2018 Vologda Region has accounted for 17% of all Russia’s saw dust export.
