From January to May, 2018 Vologda Region has exported 4.6 thous. tn of saw dust in the value of $1.8 mln and thus doubled its export volume and value compared to the same period of 2017.
The largest supplies have been shipped to Denmark (49%, $885 thous.). Vologda region’s saw dust have been also imported by Lithuania (16%), the united Kingdom and Estonia (11% each), Belgium (7%), Germany (3%), France< Finland and Italy (1% each).Vologda Region is the leading saw dust exporter among Russian regions. For the first five months of 2018 Vologda Region has accounted for 17% of all Russia’s saw dust export. For this period saw dust has been also exported by Moscow Region (15%), St. Petersburg (11%), Vladimir Region (9%), Ryazan Region (8%), Arkhangelsk Region (7%) and Novgorod Region (6%).
In 2018 Russia-Norway trade turnover amounted to $1.62 bn, it is a 2.5-fold increase compared to 2017.
In 2018 Russia-Chile trade turnover amounted to $1.18 bn, it is a 31% increase compared to 2017.
According to the Federal Custom Service of Russia, in 2018 Russia reduced fresh anchovy import both in terms of value and in terms of volume.
