From January to July, 2018 Rostov Region has exported to Ukraine cigarettes worth $46.8 mln, it is a 21% increase compared to the same period of the previous year.
Rostov Region has exported cigarettes in the value of $75.7 mln and become the largest cigarettes exporter among Russian regions. This region has accounted for 43% of all national cigarettes export ($174.2 mln). St. Petersburg has ranked 2nd (35%) and Volgograd Region has ranked 3rd (11%).
For the first seven months of 2018 Rostov Region’s cigarettes have been supplied to 23 countries, including Ukraine (62%), Iraq (10%), South Ossetia (7%), Moldova (6%), Abkhazia (5%), the UAE (2%), Georgia (1.5%), Kazakhstan (1.4%), Singapore (1.3%), Libya (0.9%) and others.
