Export of Canned Champignons to Russia Goes Up

For the first six months of 2018 Russia has imported more than 14 thous. tn of canned champignons worth $11.9 mln, it is a 23% increase compared to the same period of 2017.

The major supplier of canned champignons has become China that has accounted for 92% of all Russia’s import of this production. From January to June, 2018 China has exported to Russia 13.5 thous. tn of canned champignons valued at $10.9 mln.

Besides, Russia has imported canned champignons from the Netherlands (4%), Poland (2%), Belarus, Armenia, Italy, Belgium, Germany, Spain, Hungary and other countries.

For the first six months of 2018 Russia’s canned champignons import has been 56 times as much as its export ($209.767 thous.).
