Lipetsk Region’s Trade Turnover Increased By 27.6%

For the first eight months of 2018 Lipetsk Region’s Trade Turnover has reached $3965.3 mln, it is a 26.7% increase compared to the same period of the previous year.

The major share of trade turnover has been provided by export that has amounted to $3488.9 mln (+34.9% compared to 2017).

Import has decreased by 7.9% to $476.4 mln.

Region’s main trade partners have become Turkey, Mexico, Belgium, Denmark, the USA, China, Germany, India, Italy, Poland, the Netherlands, Brazil and Uzbekistan. These countries have accounted for 94.1% of all region’s trade turnover ($3731.2 mln). Lipetsk Region has exported goods mostly to Mexico, Turkey, Belgium, Denmark, the USA, India, Germany, Uzbekistan, Latvia, Finland, Poland, Azerbaijan, Algeria, Moldova and Georgia. These countries have accounted for 98.1% of all region’s export ($3423.1 mln). The largest export supplies have been provided by PAO “Novolipetsk Metallurgichesky Kombinat” that exported ferrous metals.

Among region’s major import partners there have been China, Germany, Italy, Poland, the Netherlands, Brazil, Austria, Slovakia, Hungary, the Czech Republic, the USA, Japan, Luxembourg, Belgium and Spain. These countries have accounted for 88.6% of Lipetsk Region’s import ($422.16 mln). The region has imported mechanical equipment and its parts (32.4%), electrical machinery (13.2%), ferrous metals (9.6%), plastics and articles thereof (8.6%), setts, curbstones and flagstones (5.1%), ferrous metals articles (3.5%), processed vegetables and fruits (3.4%) and chemical products (2.9%).
