Tomsk ice-cream brand “33 Penguins” has opened an ice-cream parlour in Suzhou (Jiangsu Province of China).
Preparing for a franchise launch took about a year and a half.
Tomsk ice-cream is not a novelty for Chinese customers, because company’s production has already entered Shanghai market. In total the company has 20 sales outlets in China (branded chest freezers and glass-cases), but newly-opened café is the first one.
The new café corresponds with the common format used by the Tomsk company and sells both ice-cream scoops and ice-cream bowls by weight. In the near future a few small-sized cafes will be opened in Tashkent, Uzbekistan’s capital city.
“33 Penguins” franchise has been already launched in Belarus, Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan.
