According to the Federal Custom Service, for seven months of 2018 Russia’s foreign trade turnover has increased by 21.7% compared to January-July of 2017 and amounted to $386.1 bn.
Russia’s import has amounted to $136.9 bn, it is a 11.8% annualized growth. The main share of import (46.8%) has been constituted by machinery and equipment (-0.6% compared to January-July of 2017). It is reported that for this period import of food products and food raw materials has decreased to 12.7% compared to 13.2% in January-July of 2017.
