Restrictions Imposed On Ruminants Imported from Bulgaria

As from August 29, 2018 Rosselkhoznadzor has imposed temporary restrictions on import of small ruminant animals and raw products thereof from Bulgaria.

The restrictions have been caused by the deterioration of epizootic situation, namely by the outbreak of ovine rinderpest (PPR) in Bulgaria. Temporary restrictions have been imposed on import of domestic and wild sheep and goats, semen of domestic sheep and goats, embryos of domestic and wild sheep and goats, and products thereof not exposed to antiviral treatment as well.
