From January to July, 2018 Moscow’s non-resource non-energy export has increased by 8% and amounted to $10.79 bn, while in the first half of 2017 this figure was $9.9 bn.
For the first six months of 2018 the capital city has accounted for almost 16% of Russia’s non-resource non-energy export.
Among Moscow’s major non-resource export goods there are mechanical equipment, machinery and computers ($1.26 bn), electronics and communication devices ($807.9 mln), motor vehicles ($363.1 mln), optics, instruments and medical devices ($265.63 mln), and household chemicals ($107.91 mln).
From January to July, 2018 the main importers of Moscow’s non-resource non-energy goods have been the USA, India, Belarus, Algeria and Kazakhstan. These countries have accounted for approximately 40% of all capital city’s export.
