According to the Federal Custom Service of Russia, in the first half of 2018 Russia has imported 28.9 mln pairs of leather footwear, it is a 20.9% increase compared to the same period of 2017.
Leather footwear import in terms of value has increased by 24.2% to $778.7 mln.
In June leather footwear import has stood at 4.6 mln pairs, it is a 91.7% growth compared to May.
For six month of 2018 Russia’s apparel import has amounted to $3.2 bn (+11.8% compared to the first half of 2017).
From January to June, 2018 cotton fabric import volume has decreased by 5.8% to 116 mln sqm, while its import value has grown by 13.7% to $78.6 mln.
Russia’s cotton fabric export has amounted to more than 42 mln sqm and increased by 1.4% compared to the first half of 2017. Export revenues have increased by 3.8% and reached $24.3 mln.
