From January to June, 2018 Russia’s export of ferrous metals has amounted to 23.565 mln tn and increased by 13.8% compared to the same period of the previous year.
For the first six months of 2018 export of cast iron has increased by 34.5% to 3.029 mln tn, while export of semi-finished products of iron or non-alloy steel has grown by 13.7% to 8.172 mln tn.
In the first half of 2018 ferrous metals export has stood at $11.879 bn and increased by 33.1% in terms of value. So, export value of cast iron supplies has increased by 48.4% to $1.106 bn and export value of semi-finished products has increased by 44.8% to $4.135 bn.
In June ferrous metals export has increased by 9.9% compared to the previous month and amounted to 4.342 mln tn, including 813.7 thous.tn of cast iron (a 2.2-fold increase) and 1.362 mln tn of semi-finished products (a 0.3% decrease).
In June export value of ferrous metals has increased by 10.7% to $2.225 bn, export value of cast iron has doubled to $306.8 mln, and export value of semi-finished products has decreased by 3.2% to $6958 mln.
