Russia’s Export of Fertilizers

From January to June, 2018 Russia’s export of potash fertilizers has decreased by 23.2% compared to the same period of the previous year and stood at 4.54 mln tn.

Export value has amounted to $974.1 mln, a 11.7% decrease compared to the first six months of 2017.

At the same time export of nitrogen fertilizers has increased by 7.2% to 6.674 mln tn, while export value of these goods has increased by 11.2% to $1.29 bn.

For the first half of 2018 export of mixed fertilizers has grown by 15.25 to 6.057 mln tn, their export value has increased by 27.8% to $1.747 bn.

In this period methanol export has increased by 21.1% to 937.4 thous. tn worth $297.8 mln, while ammonia export has grown by 45.6% to 2.278 mln tn worth $604.6 mln.

From January to June, 2018 export supplies of calcium phosphate, aluminum-calcium phosphates and phosphate chalks have increased by 23.1% to 1.353 mln tn worth $161.6 mln.
