Belarusian Champignons of Polish Origin

Belarusian Champignons of Polish Origin

According to the Federal Custom Service of Russia, for the first five months of 2018 the Republic of Belarus has exported to Russia more than 22 thous. fresh champignons worth $23.9 mln and thus increased its export compared to the same period of 2017 both in terms of value and in terms of volume.

Belarusian supplies account for 71% of Russia’s champignon import.

From July 24, 2018 Rosselkhoznadzor imposes temporary restrictions on champignon import from the Republic of Belarus. The restrictions have been caused by mushrooms of Polich origin detected in Belarusian supplies.

Except Belarus, free champignons are exported to Russia by Serbia (21.8%), China (4.1%), Armenia (2.3%), Jordan (0.6%) and Moldova (0.2%).
