Russia’s Export Geography for Unwrought Lead

In 2017 Russia’s unwrought lead export amounted to $272.5 mln that is 155 times as much as its import.

From January to May, 2018 Russia has exported 42.6 thous. tn of unwrought lead worth $105.5 mln and thereby increased both export value and export volume (by 14% and by 4% compared to the same period of the last year).

From January to May, 2018 Russia has exported unwrought lead to the following countries:

· Turkey (22.3%);

· The Czech Republic (15.3%);

· Greece (12.2%);

· Poland (9.5%);

· Cayman Islands (9.3%);

· Germany (7.2%);

· Switzerland (6.8%);

· Singapore (5.6%);

· Ukraine (3.8%);

· The United Kingdom (2.5%);

· Bulgaria (1.2%);

· Uzbekistan (1%);

· Thailand (1%);

· Estonia (0.9%);

· Belgium (0.9%);

· Serbia (0.3%);

· Armenia (0.1%);

· Kazakhstan (0.1%);

· Belarus (0.1%);

· Kyrgyzstan (0.1%);

· Lithuania (0.05%) and other countries.

In 2017 the largest importers accounted for 95.3% of all Russian unwrought lead export were Turkey, Switzerland, The Czech Republic, Germany, Cayman Islands, Poland, Greece, Singapore, Uzbekistan, Ukraine and the UK.
