PRIMORYE CAN BECOME A PRIORITY REGION OF RUSSIA TO EXPORT PORK TO THE APR COUNTRIES

Ecologically pure pork is going to be exported from Primorye to China, Japan and South Korea.

With a request for assistance in expanding trade and industrial relations with the countries of the Asia-Pacific region, the Acting Governor Andrei Tarasenko addressed the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin at a meeting on Wednesday, July 4, in Kremlin.

At present, because of the outbreak of animal diseases in the European part of Russia, the principles of regionalization of our country are not accepted by China, Japan and South Korea. At the same time, in the Primorskiy Territory within the framework of the Mikhailovskiy TAEG, active construction of large pig complexes and processing enterprises is underway to produce products with export potential and corresponding requirements set by importers.

“We ask you to instruct the Government of the Russian Federation to determine the Primorskiy Territory at the legislative level as a priority subject for regionalization and further supply of pork products for export,” - Andrei Tarasenko addressed the head of state.

The Ministry of Agriculture and the Rosselkhoznadzor are invited to organize work on coordination of activities with importing countries in the area of ​​audits, certification of exporting enterprises in the Primorskiy Territory, the construction of an export-oriented production control system to obtain permission to export products from Russia. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia and the Ministry of Agriculture - to cooperate with China, Japan and South Korea on the harmonization and recognition of the principles of regionalization of the territories of the Russian Federation and the compartmentalization of individual enterprises that must ensure well-being and zoosanitary status in accordance with the requirements of these countries.

“We guarantee the implementation of all necessary measures to preserve the favorable epizootic status of the Primorskiy Territory,” - Andrei Tarasenko assured the President.

It should be noted that last week the largest anchor resident of the Mikhailovskiy TAEG a group of companies Rusagro brought the first batch of breeding pigs to Primorye. They plan to start producing marketable products is planned as early as February 2019, reach the designed capacity - in 2021.

We remind that the head of Primorye addresses a number of proposals to the President of the Russian Federation - to provide housing for orphans, purchase of electric trains, support the shipbuilding industry, determine a single fuel supplier to the region for the heating season, and update the fleet of buses.

During the meeting, Andrei Tarasenko also informed Vladimir Putin about the priorities of the social and economic development of the region.
