From January to April, 2018 ice-cream and edible ice export from Rostov Region to Ukraine has been 5 times as much as compared to the same period of the last year and amounted to $829 thous. with a total weight of 265 tn.
Besides, from January to April, 2018 Rostov Region has exported ice-cream to China, the export value has stood at $82.6 thous. with a total weight of 31 tn. In the same period of 2017 there was no export to China.
The total value of Rostov Region’s ice-cream export amounted to $911.6 thous. with a total weight of 296 tn.
The Region exported largely ice-cream with at least 7% milk fat (52%) valued at $477.3 thous.
The export of reduced-fat ice-cream containing from 3% to 7% milk fat accounted for 43% of export worth $389.2 thous.
The Region’s export of Ice-cream containing less than 3% milk fat accounted for the rest 5% of export worth $45.1 thous.
For the first quarter of 2018 Rostov Region has ranked as the 3rd largest exporter of ice-cream and edible ice in Russia (6.4%).
