For the first four months of 2018 the Republic of Mordovia has exported chicken meat and by-products to $13.9 mln that is 10 times as much as compared to the same period of 2017.
From January to April, 2017 the Republic of Mordovia exported these products only to Abkhazia. From January to April, 2018 the region expands the export geography to Kyrgyzstan (60%), Kazakhstan (29%), Armenia (6%) and Abkhazia (5%) as well.
The structure of this commodity heading exported by Mordovia is as follows:
• Chicken meat cuts and by-products accounted for 89%;
• Chicken meat not cut in pieces, frozen accounted for 11%.
The Republic of Mordovia provides 0.3% of all-Russian export of this production and ranks 18th among Russian regions exporting chicken meat and by-products.
