Russia’s Import of Tennis Rackets Get a Boost

Russia’s import of tennis rackets is 130 times as big as its export. For the first four months of this year Russia has imported tennis rackets to the value of $768.09 thous., it is a 62% increase compared to the same period of 2017.

Russia imported tennis rackets largely from China (96.6%).

Small-scale supplies were provided by Myanmar (2.8%). Hong Kong, Belarus and Belgium provided the rest 0.6% of the rackets imported.

Tennis rackets were imported by the following Russian regions:

• Moscow city (82%) to the value of $626.2 thous.;
• Moscow Region (11%) to $81.9 thous.;
• St. Petersburg city (6%) to $42.3 thous.;
• Nizhny Novgorod Region (0.7%) to $5.5 thous.;
• Sverdlovsk Region (0.6%) to $5 thous.;
• Smolensk Region (0.13%) to $977;
• Primorye Region(0.11%) to $820;
• Kaliningrad Region (0.06%) to $466.
