According to the Russian Federal Customs Service’s official statistics, Russia’s pork exports stood at $62m in 2016/17— a 50% increase on the previous two years.
However, Russia’s imports of pork exceeded its exports 13 times in 2017.

Russia also supplies pork for Hong Kong, Taiwan, mainland China, Japan, South Korea, Vietnam, Indonesia, Philippines, Australia, India, Pakistan, Canada, the United States, Congo and a few other countries.
