Russia imported white chocolate to $16.3m in 2017 — $1m up from the previous year and a $6m leap on 2015.
Russia’s key suppliers of white chocolate are Germany (which accounted for 29% of Russian imports), Belgium (23%), the United Kingdom (14%), Italy (12%), France (7%), Switzerland (6%), Moldova (2%), Poland (2%), Greece (1%) and Finland (1%).The leading Russian importer of white chocolate in 2017 was Moscow (which consumed 42% of the total), followed by Moscow Region (30%), St. Petersburg (17%), Chelyabinsk Region in the Urals (5%), and Vladimir Region in Central European Russia (2%).
