Russia’s exports to the United States slid by 12% in 2015 following the introduction of the Western sanctions, while imports dropped by 38%.
However, Russian exports to the United States are showing a steady growth after the initial slump: in 2016, exports picked up by 12% from 2015, and in 2017, by 14% from 2016. In the first two months of 2018, Russian exports to America rose by 12% on the previous year.
