The Special Economic Zone "Titanium Valley" (Sverdlovsk Region) and the Italian company CMS, a manufacturer of machine tools, have executed a letter of intent in respect of Innoprom Exhibition. The document was signed by the SEZ's General Director Artemiy Kuizlasov and the Italian company's CEO Marc Aceti, according to the "Titanium Valley". The Italian company is considering a potential localization of its first Russian facility during the forthcoming second phase of the SEZ's development. Intentions to implement projects during the second phase of the "Titanium Valley" were previously voiced by Russian Helicopters, Tekhnodinamika and the Ural Works of Civil Aviation with the latter becoming the anchor resident of the "Uktus" site.
"Localization in the "Titanium Valley" will afford us an opportunity to be in close vicinity to the UWCA, our core Russian partner. Moreover, our focus on civil aviation may facilitate the development of relations with other market players", Mr. Aceti noted.
