The Governor Boris Dubrovsky of the Chelyabinsk Region has signed a cooperation agreement between Chinese Railways and economic partnership "Ural Speedway" in Harbin.
"I am sure this is the interregional level which effectively deals with the implementation of large-scale interstate projects. The bringing of "Yuzhnouralsky" Transport Logistics Complex, our "overland port", to its design capacity to become an important transport and logistics hub on the New Silk way is one of examples", Boris Dubrovsky said.
Moreover, during his visit, the Governor of the South Ural held a meeting with representatives of Chinese Railways. The meeting resulted in the execution of a cooperation agreement for implementing a project contemplating the construction of a "Chelyabinsk–Yekaterinburg" speedway between the business partnership "Ural Speedway" and China Railway Group Limited.
