The "Ural Glass Factory" project by a subsidiary of Nipro Corporation (Japan) will be assigned a top priority status, according to the Sverdlovsk Region's Investment Portal. The status will be assigned after Governor Eugeny Kuyvashev of the Sverdlovsk Region signs the appropriate order. The application for the UGF has been considered by the Sverdlovsk Region Priority Investment Projects Commission.
Investments will total RUB 268.5 million. The implementation of the investment project commenced in January 2017 with the investor planning to complete it in late 2018. The company has obtained an industrial safety expert opinion and purchased the relevant equipment partially.
