Hines is going to construct a 550,000 sq.m. residential complex in east-west Moscow. This is the only major project participated by U.S. developers in the Russian housing market.
Hines, a U.S. investment and development company, intends to implement its first mass housing project in Russia. The company has agreed with Liral Group on developing a 20.3 Ha land plot owned by the latter near Voykovskaya metro station in east-west Moscow.
Hines is going to develop a layout plan for the residential complex which will then have to be approved by the capital's authorities.
Hines has been operating in Russia since early 2000s. In the meantime, the company has implemented projects with a total of 650 thousand sq.m., including 425 thousand sq.m. of commercial properties owned by it in Moscow and Saint-Petersburg.
