Russian-German hemodialysis center to be opened in Amur River Region


A non-government clinic designed to treat chronic kidney failures is going to appear in Shimanovsk, Amur River Region. According to the Press Office of the Regional Ministry of Health, the residents of the Region will be able to receive medical care there for free.


The private hemodialysis center is intended to be opened by B. Braun Avitum Russland, a Russian and German company. The company runs another center in Khabarovsk, Russian Far East. And now, the company will start operating in the Amur River Region as well.


According to B. Braun Avitum Russland, the hemodialysis center is going to be launched approximately in the second half of 2017. Necessary equipment will be made available by the investor but the healthcare facility will employ local health professionals after they pass special trainings.


There are similar and effectively functioning centers in Blagoveschensk and Belogorsk and people go there from all over the Region. Shimanovsk was selected as a subsidiary of B. Braun Group specially, to ensure that the residents of north areas of the Region can receive treatment in close vicinity to their homes. It is important that the private clinic will operate under the compulsory health insurance system so that it will provide services to citizens at no charge.
