Voronezh Region Governor meets Helling's executives
Governor of the Voronezh Region Alexey Gordeyev has held a meeting with the management of Helling, a long-standing German partner of the Voronezh State Technical University (VSTU), during his working visit to Hamburg.
The meeting was attended by Professor Nathanael Riess, the CEO of Helling, representatives of the company and Tomas Overbek and Hanno Schtecker, executives of the German-Russian Economic Union.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the progress of cooperation between the Voronezh Region and Helling as well as promising areas for boosting the cooperation. Professor Riess familiarized the guests with Helling's lab.
Currently, the Voronezh State Technical University hosts a successfully functioning non-destructive tests training and demonstration center whose equipment was made available by Helling free of charge.
Having given high points to the Voronezh Region's social and economic potential, Thomas Overbek and Hanno Schtecker said a delegation comprising representatives of German mid-sized businesses intended to visit the Region in May 2017. Alexey Gordeyev supported this initiative and suggested that a business forum with Voronezh entrepreneurs be arranged during the visit.
