Dagestan to host 4 investment projects backed by Azerbaijan investors
A series of projects supported by investors originating from Azerbaijan are being implemented in Dagestan. The construction of an up-to-date greenhouse complex having a total area of 20 hectares and using geothermal energy resources is one of such projects. It is going to cost approximately RUB 2 billion. At the moment, the construction of the first phase contemplating the creation of 5.5-hectare greenhouses is about to be completed.
Urozhay Peasant Farm Enterprise and an Azerbaijan company have also executed an agreement contemplating the construction of a greenhouse facility costing about RUB 300 million. The implementation of this project envisages the construction of the greenhouse facility to grow vegetables in the Republic of Dagestan on a year-round basis.
Apart from this, Azerbaijan investors decided to support another greenhouse facility as well as a project aimed to create a plant to manufacture structural steel for greenhouses.
