A test center for motorists is going to be created in Tatarstan by Exotest (France). This came to light at a meeting between businessmen from France and Albert Karimov, the Republic of Tatarstan's Minister of Industry and Trade, as reported by the Press Office of the Republic of Tatarstan's Ministry of Industry and Trade.
According to the Minister, five large car plants are located within a radius of less than 500 kilometers from the city of Kazan. Exotest's key corporate partners include Renault design bureau, PSA, Nissan, Toyota, Volvo, Ford, BMW, Mercedes, Volkswagen, Audi, Fiat and Hyundai. The company features laboratory equipment enabling it to additionally do light aging, climatic, corrosion, abrasion resistance, friction resistance, endurance and vibration tests.
