Penza Region hosts delegation from Chinese LLC Van'nian
Penza Region Development Corporation hosted a working meeting with the management of LLC Van'nian on the 3rd of November 2016.
The business negotiations were attended by the founder of the company Van Shibyao, CEO Din Pin, deputy chairmen of the Penza Region Government Andrei Luzgin, Andrei Burlakov and Dmistry Semeonov, CEO of JSC Penza Region Development Corporation Sergei Shelementyev and other officials representing the Russian and Chinese parties.
LLC Van'nan is creating a Russian-Chinese agricultural park in the Shemisheysky District.
The project contemplates the construction of a drying plant, grain storage, combined fodder factory and other facilities. The total amount to be invested is going to reach one billion Chinese Yuans (RUB 10 billion). The project is going to be implemented within 5 years.
The investor commenced construction operations in April 2016. Currently, 1,200 hectares have been planted with corn to be used as grain, equipment has been purchased and the construction of the 50 tph drying plant is about to be completed. The Chinese party has already invested about RUB 100 million.
LLC Van'nan plans to have increased the area devoted to growing agricultural crops up to 20,000 hectares by 2017 for which purpose the management of the company requested the Governor of the Region to assist in selecting a suitable site.
Governor Ivan Belozertsev of the Penza Region expressed readiness to assist in implementing the project and offered the investors to lease long-fallow lands.
