Spanish investors have stated they are interested in participating in Russian infrastructural projects that include the construction of the "Tsentralnaya" highway in Samara.
On the 25th and 26th of October, a Russian delegation headed by Evgeny Dietrich, the First Deputy Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation, visited Madrid to present highway projects and attract Spanish investments and road construction technology.
The Russian delegation held a series of meetings with such major Spanish enterprises as Abertis, FCC Group, Dragados, Iridium and SICE Tys at which the experience of constructing and managing modern road projects was presented.
Rosavtodor (Federal Road Agency) presented 6 new investment projects. Their total cost is almost RUB 150 billion with the total length of potential roads reaching 248 km. The projects include: the construction of Karl Marks Prospect, including the reconstruction of the "Tsentralnaya" highway in Samara, construction of a Khabarovsk bypass road, construction of a Perm bypass road with a bridge across the Chusovaya River, construction of Sterlitamak-Kaga
