One of the most advanced baggage processing system is going to be installed in the terminal of Yemelyanovo International Airport in Krasnoyarsk with French ALSTEF acting as the vendor



French baggage processing system to be installed in Krasnoyarsk Airport


One of the most advanced baggage processing system is going to be installed in the terminal of Yemelyanovo International Airport in Krasnoyarsk with French ALSTEF acting as the vendor.


The equipment will be designed considering new technology and will comprise seven baggage carousels as well as straight and bended conveyors. The system will be 100% automated which will enable mistake-free baggage sorting and ongoing tracing of the baggage traffic inside the system. ALSTEF Automation S.A.(France) will manufacture the equipment.


Yemelyanovo is one of the Region's major air transport hubs and a strategic transit hub in the airspace connecting Europe and Asia. As of today, the airport's destinations network comprises 51 routes. International Air Transport Association (IATA) issued a favorable opinion in respect of the design of the new passenger terminal. The terminal's area will be 41,000 square meters and capacity will be up to 3.5 million passengers. The construction of the terminal is scheduled to be completed until the end of 2017.
