A meeting was held on the 20th of October between Governor Ivan Belozertsev of the Penza Region and a delegation from the Turkish Republic which addressed a commissioning date for a brick factory to be hosted by Otvel Industrial Park and road construction initiatives under public–private partnerships.

We remind that agreements to mplement such projects were reached as early as in 2013, and in 2014 Jahid Ozgyur, the owner of Ozgyur Trade, incorporated Invest Penza in order to erect a new brick factory capable of producing 40 million bricks per annum with a 90% stake in the company being held by the Turkish company and the remaining shareholding being owned by the Russian partner.

The first delivery of equipment for the future factory has already been shipped and is going to arrive at Penza on any day now. The construction of the factory is going to commence in March or April 2017 and the factory will be commissioned in 2018.
