Turkish businessmen are ready to inject capital to develop Primorye's construction industry. This was announced at a bilateral meeting held between Vice Governor of the Primorye Territory Evgeny Vishnyakov and Ambassador Plenipotentiary to the Turkish Republic in the Russian Federation Umit Yardim.

Unit Yardim noted that the representatives of Turkish businesses were interested in expanding to the Russian Far East, including the Primorye Territory. "A great number of our workers were involved in the construction activities that were carried out in connection with the APEC Summit that took place in 2012. A number of Turkish construction companies are ready to cooperate with Primorye based builders," the Turkish Ambassador said.

Evgeny Vishnyakov noted that for the time being the Primorye Territory was ready to offer the Turkish party a bunch of areas for cooperation. "We are ready to implement a number of projects relating to power economy and construction. The creation of Vladivostok Free Port and advanced development territories where considerable preferences are offered to businesses will be a key to effective cooperation in a variety of areas. To facilitate the establishment of business contacts, the Region has created the Primorye Territory Investment Agency," Evgeny Vishnyakov emphasized.

The parties said they were confident that business contacts between Primorye and Turkish businesses were needed.
