German LindeGas launches gas facility in Dzerzhinsk
On the 22nd of September, LindeGas (Germany) launched Russia's largest air separation plant (ASP) in Dzerzhinsk (Nizhny Novgorod Region). The ASP will manufacture liquefied and gaseous oxygen, nitrogen and argon for SIBUR's Dzerzhinsk site.
The construction of the ASP was completed less than two years ago and it was designed applying the newest technology. That's why it features improved performance and efficiency. The amount invested in the construction of the facility totaled RUB 3.5 billion.
The facility's output allows not only providing the key consumer (SIBUR Neftekhim) with necessary amount of gas but also make deliveries for the consumers of adjacent regions.
In implementing this project, LindeGas assumed to satisfy the total gas needs of SIBUR's Dzerzhinsk facility and accepted four existing ASPs of the group for operation and management pending the construction and launching of the new unit.
