Nestle ice-cream factory has celebrated its 20th anniversary in Zhukovsky. Representatives of Zhukovsky's Administration and federal and regional mass media were invited to the ceremony events.

Nestle ice-cream factory has celebrated its 20^th anniversary in Zhukovsky. Representatives of Zhukovsky's Administration and federal and regional mass media were invited to the ceremony events.

Nestle Russia branch in Zhukovsky dates back to 1996 and was created as a joint-venture company of Nestle S.A., Switzerland, and Zhukovsky Refrigerating Plant. Today, the Zhukovsky factory employs 450+ persons. The factory makes products that are sold in Russia and CIS countries. Today, the factory makes 50 types of ice cream under such trademarks as 48 KOPECKS, BON PARI, EXTREME, MAXIBON, KitKat and others.

The Zhukovsky Factory has recently become part of Froneri, a new company resulting from a global agreement executed between Nestle and R&R (a UK leading manufacturer of ice cream) that was incorporated in April 2016. The new company intends to further develop the popular flavors of ice cream manufactured by the Zhukovsky factory.

Throughout many years, the Zhukovsky branch of Nestle Russia LLC has intensively participated in the city's life by distributing its products for free at municipal and national festivity events and supporting major international exhibitions such as MAKS International Aerospace Salon and Machine-Building Technology. Moreover, the factory carries out voluntary activities: patronizes a ICP boarding-school in Yurovo village, Ramenki District, and the officers of the branch participated three times in All-Russian Environmental Campaign "Let's Do It!" where they jointly with volunteers from Nestle's Moscow Office cleaned up the shores of the General's Lake in the Ramenki District of the Moscow Region.
