Paulig (Finland) started its operations in the Russian market in 1992. At that time, it decided to construct the country's first Paulig branded coffee roasting plant.
The plant was launched in Tver in 2011. A total of EUR 20 million was invested in the project. The plant features 5 production lines designed for different types of packings. The Tver Region based facility annually produces about 7 million tonnes of finished products supplied directly to Russian consumers and exported to CIS countries.
According to researches by Nielsen, the company accounted for 23% in the Russian market in June 2016. After Paulig's plant was launched, its shows 10 to 15% annual production growth.
