Foreign companies to be attracted to construct medical cluster in Caucasian SPAs

Odes Baisultanov, the First Deputy of the Russian Minister responsible for the affairs of North Caucasus and Chairman of the Board of Directors of JSC North Caucasus Development Corporation, has held a working meeting with representatives of VAMED (Austria) to discuss potential areas of cooperation to implement a project devoted to the creation of an innovative medical cluster in Caucasian SPAs

Odes Baisultanov, the First Deputy of the Russian Minister responsible for the affairs of North Caucasus and Chairman of the Board of Directors of JSC North Caucasus Development Corporation, has held a working meeting with representatives of VAMED (Austria) to discuss potential areas of cooperation to implement a project devoted to the creation of an innovative medical cluster in Caucasian SPAs.


Mr. Baisultanov noted in the course of the meeting that the Ministry was interested in engaging companies holding leading positions in the healthcare market to construct the medical cluster.


Mr. Baisultanov discussed with the management of VAMED the company's potential participation in the construction of the medical cluster's facilities, provision of necessary equipment, personnel recruitment and training. Furthermore, the discussion touched upon VAMED's potential participation in the co-management of the medical cluster's facilities after they are commissioned.


The Parties agreed that representative of the Russian North Caucasus Ministry and JSC North Caucasus Development Corporation would make a visit to Austria in a short time to familiarize with VAMED's own projects, including already functioning SPA and rehabilitation centers.
