Representatives of 10 leading Finnish companies are going to hold a meeting on the 14^th of September with their colleagues from Cherepovets and Vologda at an international machine-building conference. The localization of joint manufactures in Cherepovets is the key topic of the meeting.

By the way, the forthcoming meeting's agenda includes not only machine-building related matters as the participants intend to discuss international partnership options for forest industries such as agrotechnology, biotechnology, agriculture and motor road construction.

"The city of Cherepovets is making important and remarkable steps towards international investors. We responded to their call for cooperation and invited a number of Finnish companies interested in investing in Cherepovets and participating in co-projects. We hope that this conference will mark the start of a new cooperation era," Ari Virtanen, the CEO of Solidior (Finland), shared its expectations for the forthcoming meeting with journalists.

Apart from Solidior Ltd, the conference's organizers include the Mayor's Office of Cherepovets, City Development Agency, Cherepovets Investment Agency and General Finland Association.
