Krasnodar Territory to be visited by business mission from Lower Saxony in October

Representatives of foreign businesses were invited on behalf of the Governor of Kuban during the German-Russian Economic Conference that took place in Bad-Pyrmont, Germany. Negotiations involving potential investors were held by Sergei Altukhov, a Deputy Governor of the Territory.

In the course of the Conference, Sergei Altukhov described Kuban's economic potential, investment conditions offered to businesses and regional investment projects aimed to develop alternative energy sources, balneology and Lagonaka alpine resort and construct toll roads, as reported by the Regional Administration's Press Office.

"The investors from Lower Saxony are interested in localizing a machine-building facility in the Krasnodar Territory to manufacture agricultural machinery, attachable equipment and van trailers," Sergei Altukhov commented on the totals of the negotiations. "The representatives of the German businesses do not rule out the possibility of arranging a facility to manufacture solar batteries, sea containers factories and sold wastes recycling plants in the region. Furthermore, they are ready to participate in the construction of alternative toll roads and projects devoted to developing the logistic aspects of the region's sea ports.

It is expected that in October 2016 the Territory will be visited by a delegation from Lower Saxony that will arrive on a business mission comprising more than 40 representatives of the regional Ministry of Economy as well as industrial and agricultural businesses.
